This is your profession

An IT systems electronics technician plans and installs information and telecommunications technology systems. This also includes the corresponding hardware components and networks, software, power supply and the commissioning of various systems. The tasks of an IT system electronics technician also include service and maintenance tasks in which faults and malfunctions have to be rectified.

The training is focused on the field of security systems. Typical areas of application include computer systems, fixed networks, radio networks and end devices. IT system electronics technicians (m/f/d) are qualified electricians as defined by the accident prevention regulations.

  • Implementation of user software, network architectures and operating systems
  • Develop, test and implement system and solution variants
  • Customize hardware configurations
  • Plan, calculate and carry out maintenance measures
  • Receive fault reports and carry out preventive maintenance

  • Support and remote maintenance: clients/servers/entire networks
  • On-schedule work within the scope of major projects

  • IT system electronics technicians inform and advise customers about the possible uses of IT devices and systems,
  • install and configure IT technology devices and systems,
  • install networks and wireless transmission systems,
  • set up IT equipment taking ergonomic aspects into account,
  • carry out maintenance work on IT equipment and systems,
  • use expert and diagnostic systems for troubleshooting and fault rectification,
  • instruct users on how to operate the systems.

Your training lasts 36 months and takes place in the company and at vocational school. The guiding principle of VTIS training: a secure and successful future for the next generation of skilled workers.

You will be fully integrated into our team right from the start and learn to work independently. Good support is particularly important to us. In addition to theoretical training at vocational school, you will receive thorough and well-founded training in all the practical activities of an IT system electronics specialist.
