We are certified in accordance with the current Packaging Act pursuant to § 15 para. 1. sentence 1 of the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) to take back the following packaging materials from end consumers free of charge:
When the product is delivered, appropriate packaging material is used, which we will take back free of charge. We thus ensure that the packaging material is returned to the recycling cycle. By providing information about the return options, the aim is to achieve better results in the return of packaging and to ensure that the European recycling targets in accordance with EU Directive 94/62/EC are met.
As the end consumer, you can hand in the packaging material at the place where it is actually handed over or in the immediate vicinity.
The German Packaging Act (VerpackG) transposes the European Packaging Directive 94/62/EC into German law. It regulates the placing of packaging on the market as well as the take-back and high-quality recycling of packaging waste. The law replaced the existing Packaging Ordinance (VerpackV) in 2019 and was amended in 2021. The VerpackG2 has been in force since July 3, 2021 – and only in the Federal Republic of Germany.
With this certificate we confirm that
registered transport packaging, commercial sales packaging and packaging containing hazardous substances at the company’s customers are recorded by Interzero partners,
collected packaging is recycled and
all requirements of the packaging law are met.
