About the Project

For one of Europe’s largest retailers, we are responsible for equipping thousands of branches with professional, digital video surveillance systems. One of the goals is to reduce inventory discrepancies. We see ourselves as a full-service system house, and accordingly, we handle all project steps up to the completion of each individual branch. This includes conception, planning, consulting, pre-configuration, commissioning, installation, and service after a system is put into operation. To ensure the smooth functioning of the video surveillance system, our helpdesk provides its expertise and resolves issues via remote support in the shortest possible time.

Entrances and Exits

Monitoring of entrances and exits with integrated people counting. Special cameras for rapidly changing light conditions and day/night function. Connection to access control for restricted areas such as the cash office.

Transaction Zone

Checkout Area

The video system is connected to the POS system. Every action (e.g., cash drawer opening or closing) can be linked to a video image. Additional anonymization using privacy masks and dynamic pixelation of critical areas (e.g., card terminals) and individuals.

Non-Public Areas

Warehouse and Ancillary Areas

Video surveillance was implemented in the warehouse and ancillary areas, creating transparency in goods movements and internal processes. The recordings support the reliable clarification of incidents and contribute to securing sensitive goods areas.

Integrated Security Architecture

Alarm and Video Technology

The combination of alarm technology and video surveillance enables a central view of security-relevant events. Alarms are automatically assigned to the corresponding camera images, allowing for targeted reactions with significantly reduced monitoring effort.
