This data protection declaration describes which of your personal data is collected by VTIS during your visit to our website, when using our VTIS shop, how we use this data and what design rights you have with regard to this data.

2. Definition
2.1 The responsible party within the meaning of the Data Protection Act is VTIS.
2.2 Personal data are details of your personal or factual circumstances. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by VTIS if this is legally permitted or if the user consents to data processing.

3. Use of our VTIS website
3.1 You can visit our VTIS Website at any time without providing any personal information. If individual functions and services offered via our website require the specification, storage and use of personal data, you will be informed of this separately in advance.
3.2 If we evaluate your usage behaviour on our website without your express consent, we will use your data exclusively in anonymous or pseudonymised form. These data include the date and time you accessed our website, your browser type, browser settings and the operating system, the last page you visited, the amount of data transferred and the IP address. Your Internet Service Provider can trace which IP address was assigned to you at what time. Since the complete IP address thus permits at least an indirect personal reference, we record your IP address exclusively in shortened (anonymized) form, so that a personal reference is excluded for us.

4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. Google Analytics is a web analysis service of Google Inc. “(“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to create pseudonymous user profiles. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your web browser and enable the recognition of your web browser.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website and internet use for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of our website.
The IP address automatically transmitted to Google by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with your other Google data. 5. Map Services (Google Maps)

Google receives the information that the contact page of our website has been accessed from the IP address of your device.

6. YouTube

Our website uses plugins from Google’s YouTube site. This website is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The Youtube server will be informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. When integrating YouTube videos, we work with the so-called “extended data protection mode”. This enables the integration of YouTube videos without the use of cookies. However, due to the large number of embedded videos, it is possible that videos were also included without the extended data protection mode. In this case, the previous paragraph shall apply.

7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that collect your data exclusively under the use of pseudonyms. The VTIS Website is protected by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of personal data by unauthorized persons.

 

9. Use of SalesViewer techology

This website uses SalesViewer® technology from SalesViewer® GmbH on the basis of the website operator’s legitimate interests (Section 6 paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR) in order to collect and save data on marketing, market research and optimisation purposes.

In order to do this, a javascript based code, which serves to capture company-related data and according website usage. The data captured using this technology are encrypted in a non-retrievable one-way function (so-called hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymised and is not used to identify website visitors personally.

The data stored by Salesviewer will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for their intended purpose and there are no legal obligations to retain them.

The data recording and storage can be repealed at any time with immediate effect for the future, by clicking on https://www.salesviewer.com/opt-out in order to prevent SalesViewer® from recording your data. In this case, an opt-out cookie for this website is saved on your device. If you delete the cookies in the browser, you will need to click on this link again.

10. Right to information, deletion, correction
You can request free information about your personal data stored by us at any time.
