2. Definition
2.1 The responsible party within the meaning of the Data Protection Act is VTIS.
2.2 Personal data are details of your personal or factual circumstances. Personal data is only collected, used and passed on by VTIS if this is legally permitted or if the user consents to data processing.

3. Use of our VTIS website
3.1 You can visit our VTIS Website at any time without providing any personal information. If individual functions and services offered via our website require the specification, storage and use of personal data, you will be informed of this separately in advance.
3.2 If we evaluate your usage behaviour on our website without your express consent, we will use your data exclusively in anonymous or pseudonymised form. These data include the date and time you accessed our website, your browser type, browser settings and the operating system, the last page you visited, the amount of data transferred and the IP address. Your Internet Service Provider can trace which IP address was assigned to you at what time. Since the complete IP address thus permits at least an indirect personal reference, we record your IP address exclusively in shortened (anonymized) form, so that a personal reference is excluded for us.

4. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. Google Analytics is a web analysis service of Google Inc. “(“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to create pseudonymous user profiles. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your web browser and enable the recognition of your web browser.
The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website and internet use for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of our website.
The IP address automatically transmitted to Google by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with your other Google data. Since IP anonymisation is also activated on this website, your IP address will be reduced before it is transferred to the USA within the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your web browser accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website to their full extent.
In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of our website and the processing of this data by Google on all websites by downloading and installing a browser add-on provided by Google.

Further information on Google Analytics can be found in Google’s privacy policy, which you can access here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Please click the following button to disable Google Analytics for this website. You must repeat this action on other websites of our company. Also if you visit this website with another browser you need to click the button again: Disable Google Analytics

Klicking this button sets an opt-out cookie that prevents Google from collecting your data on this website in the future. Please note that you must click the link again if you have deleted the cookie from your mobile device or if you want to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website on another device. The opt-out cookie does not prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on other websites.

5. Map Services (Google Maps)
On the contact page we use Google Maps to display geographical information in a visually appealing way. Google Maps is a map service provided by Google Inc. “(“Google”). In order for the Google map material we use to be integrated and displayed in your web browser, your web browser must connect to a Google server, which may also be located in the United States, when you visit the contact page. Google receives the information that the contact page of our website has been accessed from the IP address of your device.

6. YouTube

Our website uses plugins from Google’s YouTube site. This website is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The Youtube server will be informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you allow YouTube to associate your surfing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. For more information on how user data is handled, please see YouTube’s privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

When integrating YouTube videos, we work with the so-called “extended data protection mode”. This enables the integration of YouTube videos without the use of cookies. However, due to the large number of embedded videos, it is possible that videos were also included without the extended data protection mode. In this case, the previous paragraph shall apply.

7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that collect your data exclusively under the use of pseudonyms. Cookies are data packets generated by a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive when your computer communicates with the web server. With the help of cookies we create user profiles for the purpose of advertising, market research and demand-oriented design of the website, among other things. This is done exclusively under the use of pseudonyms. Regardless of the type of cookies used, you have the choice of whether or not to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie or you can exercise your existing legal right to object to the use of cookies by rejecting cookies in your browser settings. You can delete cookies that have already been saved using the corresponding function of your browser. Please refer to the help function of your Internet browser for details. Please note that if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use the full range of website functions.

8. Data Safety

The VTIS Website is protected by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of personal data by unauthorized persons.

9. Right to information, deletion, correction
You can request free information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You are also entitled to request the correction, blocking or deletion of your personal data, with the exception of those personal data which are required by us for billing purposes or for which a legal retention period applies.
